Last Updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of vehicles provided by MOYEGO and form an integral part of every Rental Agreement.

By entering into a Rental Agreement with MOYEGO, the Renter confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all direct bookings made with MOYEGO and, where applicable, bookings made through authorised brokers and travel partners. Where a booking is made through a third-party platform, that platform’s booking conditions may also apply. In the event of a conflict relating to the booking process or payment, the terms of the booking platform shall prevail. Matters relating to the rental, collection, use and return of the Vehicle remain governed by these Terms & Conditions unless otherwise required by applicable law.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

MOYEGO means the vehicle rental company providing the rental services.

Renter means the person named as the Main Driver in the Rental Agreement and responsible for the Vehicle throughout the Rental Period.

Main Driver means the person who signs the Rental Agreement and accepts full responsibility for the Vehicle.

Additional Driver means any driver authorised by MOYEGO and recorded in the Rental Agreement.

Rental Agreement means the written agreement entered into between MOYEGO and the Renter.

Vehicle means the rented vehicle together with its keys, documents, accessories and any optional equipment supplied by MOYEGO.

Rental Period means the period beginning when the Vehicle is collected and ending only when it has been returned, inspected and accepted by MOYEGO.

Security Deposit means the refundable amount held by MOYEGO during the Rental Period as financial security.

Excess means the maximum financial liability payable by the Renter for covered damage or theft under the selected Protection Package.

2. Driver Requirements

MOYEGO reserves the right to refuse the rental where the required documentation cannot be presented or where the Driver Requirements are not satisfied.

The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all booking information is accurate, including:

  • Collection and return dates.
  • Collection and return locations.
  • Flight details where applicable.
  • Driver information.
  • Contact details.

Any amendment to a confirmed reservation is subject to Vehicle availability and MOYEGO’s approval.

  • Payment or the Security Deposit cannot be completed.
  • The Renter appears unfit to drive.
  • There is reasonable belief that the Vehicle may be used in breach of these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

MOYEGO shall not be responsible for any indirect or consequential losses arising from a refusal to rent, including accommodation costs, transport expenses, missed flights or other travel-related expenses.

6. Vehicle Availability

Reservations are confirmed for a Vehicle Category and not for a specific make, model, colour, engine type or specification.

MOYEGO will make every reasonable effort to provide the reserved Vehicle.

If the reserved Vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, accident, delayed return, maintenance or circumstances beyond MOYEGO’s reasonable control, MOYEGO reserves the right to provide a replacement Vehicle of the same category or a higher category at no additional cost.

The replacement Vehicle may differ in make, model, fuel type, transmission, colour or equipment while remaining within the same category or a higher category.

Where no suitable replacement Vehicle is available, MOYEGO may offer an alternative Vehicle, amend the reservation or provide a refund of any prepaid rental charges, where applicable.

Where no additional charges apply, the Security Deposit will be released following the final inspection of the Vehicle.

The release of the Security Deposit depends on the customer’s bank or card issuer and may take up to 30 days to become available.

MOYEGO shall not be responsible for delays caused by the banking system.

9. Protection Packages

All Vehicles include Basic Protection as standard.

The Renter may upgrade to one of the optional Protection Packages before or at the time of Vehicle collection.

The selected Protection Package will be confirmed in the Rental Agreement.

MOYEGO recommends that the Renter takes photographs or a video of the Vehicle before leaving the collection location.
